STEPHEN “STEVE” NOAKES

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen “Steve” Noakes, who passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 69, surrounded by those who loved him.

Steve was the devoted and loving husband of Zana for 12 years. He was a cherished father to Jeremy and Michelle (Jeff) Small, and a deeply adored stepfather to Edita, Senka, and Maja. He will be lovingly remembered by his eleven grandchildren, who brought him great joy and pride. He is survived by his sister, Sherry Noakes, and will be dearly missed by his extended family members and many friends.

Stephen proudly ran H.R. Noakes Plumbing & Heating for over 25 years and was a familiar, trusted face in the community. He was a lifelong sports enthusiast and respected hockey coach with the Schomberg Minor Hockey Association.

Stephen will be remembered for his kindness, strength, and the profound impact he had on the lives of his family and friends. He was known for his strong character, unwavering loyalty, and the genuine care he showed to everyone fortunate enough to know him.

In keeping with Stephen’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be shared by the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Lampman Funeral Home. www.lampmanfuneralhome.com
