UHRIG, MAPLE ROSE – Age 91, passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on September 9, 2016 with her family by her side. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. Predeceased by her husband Norman Edward (2014). Leaving behind her daughter Pat (Al) Higgins and son Norm (Pam), 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Maple was a retiree of F. W. Woolworths Hamilton and enjoyed a long retirement fishing and participating in activities at Anchor Point and Lookout Ridge. Respecting Maple’s wishes there will be no Visitation. Cremation has taken place, with a private Interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines. A very special thank you to the staff at Lookout Ridge in Fonthill and the staff of the Welland Hospital 6th floor. Arrangements entrusted to the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick.

I was so sorry to hear of Aunt Maple’s passing she was a wonderful Aunt,We always looked forward to their Southampton visits when we were young and we still kept in touch at Christmas.We will miss her
