It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Henry Van Tuyl on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at the age of 72 surrounded by his family.
John was the beloved husband of Carol (Ross) for 48 years and a devoted father to Chris & Henny, Megan and Alex & Amber.
He will lovingly be remembered by his grandchildren Joshua & Chloe, Kate, Madison, Zachary, Sarah, Emily, John and James. He was joyfully anticipating the arrival of his first great-grandchild.
He will be deeply missed by his brothers Henk & Rita, Joe & Ann, Harry & Beatrix and Leo & Tina and their families. John will also deeply be missed by the large Ross family as well as many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
John took great pride in his work as a truck driver which he worked hard at for 50 years.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lampman Funeral Home Lampman Funeral Home, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick, ON L0S 1C0
The funeral will be held at Riverside CRC, 74094 Wellandport Rd. Wellandport, ON L0R 2J0. on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
