JELTJE SCHILSTRA (BAKKER) – at Shalom Manor in Grimsby on Tuesday March 7, 2017 in her 91st year, passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late John Schilstra (2004). Dear mother of Hammie Schilstra (Jim) Port Colborne, Wiesje Dobrucki (Rick) Wellandport, and Steve Schilstra of Welland. Loving grandmother (Beppe) of Angie Greenwood (Jim), Kim Killins (Brad), Joe Dobrucki (Jennie) and Lyndsay Cloughley. Dear great-grandmother of Tyler, Megan, Kaleb, Ella, Audrey, Kaeli, Alexis, Sarayah and Emily. Dear sister of Faye Douma (Fred), Tina Wierstra (Alex), Doris Romkes (Rene) and Anke Huisman (Henk). Predeceased by her parents Sieds and Harmke Bakker and her brothers Folkert Bakker and Frank Bakker and her sisters Anna Galama and Alice Hoekstra. Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick. Visitation to be held on Friday March 10th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be conducted at the Wellandport Riverside Christian Reformed Church on Saturday March 11th at 11:00 A.M. A Private family Interment will take place prior to the service at the Riverside Cemetery. Memorial donations if desired can be made to Shalom Manor, Grimsby or the Alzheimer’s Society.
