Viola Marie Haywood (nee Diener) passed away very unexpectedly in the early morning of August 20, 2022. Marie (as she insisted was her name, not Viola) was a feisty red-headed 90 year old. She was still very active and always kept busy. She leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Nancy. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent (2014). Her loving grand fur babies, Tucker and Charlie, miss Grandma terribly. She is now reunited with her many grand fur babies who have passed before her and are waiting for grandmas loving hugs again.
Thank you to the EMS Paramedics who assisted my mom and stayed with her until the doctor was available. Thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Welland Hospital site for caring for mom and making her comfortable until the end.
Miss you Mom. Love you always.
As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, with no visitation or service.
Your mother was a lovely person. She was in my childhood days, her Dad and mine , Victor Coleman, were like brothers, in fact brother in laws. I’m sorry for your loss and ours.
Nancy,, thank you for the kind words about mom. She spoke of your mom and dad, as well as you kids, quite often when she talked about the years gone by. I remember her saying that your dad and my grandpa were very close. Heaven has certainly gained some wonderful angels over the years.
