On Wednesday, November 4, 2026 Our Lord took until Himself Heidi Joy Huizinga. Infant daughter of Josh and Allison Huizinga. Heidi was born on Thursday October 22, 2026 prematurely at 22 weeks and 5 days at just 550 grams.
Though she was only here with us on earth for 13 days, she was so immensely loved by her parents Josh and Allison, siblings; Joshua (Jr.), Elijah, Jeremiah, Lydia and Leah. Grandparents; Ken and Dana Huizinga, Paul and Evelyn Schwanz. Many aunts and uncles and cousins, as well as her church family at Pelham United Reformed Church.
A special thank you to all the NICU staff at McMaster Children’s Hospital that gave Heidi the best chance at life that they were able, even at her small size.
Though our hearts feel broken that she is no longer with us on earth, we find comfort in knowing she is fully healed, safe in the arms of Jesus.
