TERRY ALVIN DILTS

January 19, 1963 – June 30, 2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Terry Alvin Dilts at age 63. Terry went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, surrounded by his sister Lisa, sister-in-law Cindy, and friend Marianne, in Kelowna, BC, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Terry is deeply missed by his loving sister Lisa and brother Gary. Loving Uncle to Sarah (Troy), Diana (Dave), Joanna (Mitch), Jonathan, Zach (Christine), Brittany (Brian), Lacey, and Kayli (Dan). Loving Great Uncle to Seth, Travis, Kristen, Scarlett, Rose, Abbie, Axel, Lily, and Maci. Predeceased by his parents Clarence and Leta Dilts (Sider), brother Richard Dilts, nephew Tyler Dilts, and sister Janet Lucille. Terry will be missed by his long-time friend, Marianne Stefanik and her son Jaime Laplante.

Terry’s work life started on farms in southern Ontario, such as picking tobacco and catching chickens. He most recently worked as a courier in Kamloops BC, at the Ferrero Plant in Brantford ON, at Pinty’s in Paris, ON, and at Ruff Clarkson Steel in Brantford ON. Terry was a hard worker and took great pride in his work. He was a quiet soul, but loved deeply, and loved watching sports, particularly the Buffalo Bills, Toronto Maple Leaf’s and Toronto Blue Jays.

Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Lampman Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 1 pm, at the Wainfleet Brethren In Christ Church. Visitation with the family will be held from 12 noon to 12:45 pm prior to the service. Interment to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Wainfleet with a light lunch following at the Wainfleet BIC Church. Memorial donations can be made to the Wainfleet BIC Church.
