MARCY JEAN MOORMANN

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marcy Jean Moormann on October 7, 2025 at the age of 33.

Marcy was a wonderful woman, who made an impression on anyone she met. Her love for travel took her to corners of the world most people only dream of. Wherever she went, her personality allowed her to make connections, turning strangers into friends with her quick wit, infectious laugh, and ability discuss almost any topic with intellect. Our world feels dimmer without her, but her spirit will live on in the countless memories she helped us create.

She will be missed by her daughter Eloise, who brought such joy to her life. Eloise’s father, Marc Ashbridge. Her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Moormann, her grandparents Joseph and Jeannette Moormann, sister, Selina, nieces, Mikayla and Lily – aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

We love you, Marcy, forever and always.

Marcy’s family would like to thank the ICU staff at the Niagara Falls General for their kindness, compassion and care during this most difficult time. Elaine, your tender care will not be forgotten.

In lieu of cards and flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund set up for Eloise.

  • Oh Adele and family ❤️ My deepest condolences. I pray for much strength for you all during this time of grief and learning to cope with this great loss.

  • I was absolutely heartbroken to hear about Marcy’s passing. There are truly no words to express the sadness I feel for you and your family right now and especially for Eloise.
I had the privilege of working side-by-side with Marcy at JTL for five years, and she was so much more than a coworker; she was a treasured friend. We shared countless stories about our families and our pets. Even in her 30’s, she had this wonderful old soul wisdom about her.
I’ll never forget how much joy she took in life. She knew her foods, loved to travel, and was very crafty and shared some incredible baked goods made from her family recipes. Her love for you all, her family, was clear in every story she told.
Marcy a special person who touched everyone she met with her kindness and warmth. She will be deeply missed by all of us at JTL.
Please accept my deepest, most heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.
    With Sympathy and Love,
    Toni Menard
