ROBERT (BOB) JOLLIFFE

JOLLIFFE, ROBERT (BOB) – at the Welland County General Hospital on Friday October 3, 2014, Robert Jolliffe of Port Robinson in his 80th year. Dear father of Catherine, David (Donna), and Patti Goodfield (Mark). Loving grandfather to Betsy (David), Sarah, Matthew, Tyler, Jacob, and Noah. Great grandfather to Charlie, Robert and Henry. Robert is survived by his sister Mary-Beth Anger and his special friend Shirley Rate. Predeceased by his wife Eleanor (2012) and daughter Joanne (2012). Bob was a proud member of The Port Robinson Fire Department since 1959 and was Chief for seven years. He was a founding member of the Niagara Fire Buffs, and an active Board Member of the F.F.A.O. He was an avid golfer and a long time member of Whiskey Run Golf Course, and was a member of the Atlas Bowling League. He was also a volunteer for the Special Olympics and a recipient of the Diamond Jubilee Award. Bob worked at B.F. Goodrich for many years before his retirement. He loved to garden and woodcarve.

Resting at the LAMPMAN FUNERAL HOME, 724 Canboro Road, Fenwick for Visitation on Monday October 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 7th at 11:00 A.M. at the Fonthill United Church. Cremation to follow. Donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
